Our engagement for this project commenced in 2006. The development works are based upon the exhaustive restoration of a prominent 18th century Grade II listed house fronting the River Thames, adjacent to Hammersmith Bridge, and development to the rear of the site, returning the property to a single family residence.
The house, formerly on the English Heritage Register of Listed Buildings at Risk, has been fully resuscitated with the assistance of eminent conservation specialists and the help of the Georgian Group Society. Extensive development to the rear of the property includes new contemporary designed additional accommodation consisting of swimming pools, garages, studios and two independent street houses, all sensitively conceived with new landscape proposals to the listed building setting.
