From a series of ruins, a reconstructed ensemble of stone buildings cohere to create a new boutique resort on a hillside with views to the coast.
The practice was commissioned to prepare design proposals for the conversion of a group of historic former farm buildings set on a hillside in open agricultural surrounds to create a new boutique resort.
The development consists of the restoration of the existing stone buildings along with extensions and new ancillary elements including terraces, secluded stone walled enclosures and a swimming pool, supporting the accommodation for 20 persons. The immediate area is to be landscaped with local aromatic flora blending casually in with the surrounding agricultural context.
